This is why the internet exists for blogging: blogs give you an unprecedented look into someone's life and where they live, which is absolutely the coolest thing ever. Case in point: The House in Marrakesh. I could spend all day reading about this place, gazing at a fascinating world where doors are blue and markets draped with slat-filtered sunlight. I wouldn't have known this ever existed except for that blog.
You can find blogs about life anywhere in the world, little portals to different places and cultures. And that, I believe, is why blogs are the greatest things on the internet.
