Goldfish

I was sitting in the doctor's office yesterday, watching one of their aquariums, when it dawned on me: how fascinating a goldfish's life must be. If they really do only have a three second memory, and if you put them in an even moderately interesting aquarium, they'll spend their entire lives swimming around finding fascinating new things. Can you imagine? A life of perpetual adventure and discovery?
