I randomly came across a book today entitled "The Roof Gardens of Broadway Theatres, 1883-1942." And while I was reading this book I realized what I want to do: experiential real estate. I thought for a while I wanted to design buildings; really, I want to give them purpose. I want to say what goes into them, what they're there for. Restaurants, coffee shops, theatres, halls, meeting spaces, aquariums, what have you. I'm not sure how to get there, but I'd be willing to work my butt off to be able to do that. Develop real estate that creates experience.
Let's hope this sticks.
